We hope everyone enjoyed a safe and relaxing summer. As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, we are excited to welcome all students and families back to Petitcodiac Regional School.

First Day of School

The first day of school for all students will be Tuesday September 8, 2025. The only exception will be for students in kindergarten classes who will have a staggered entry, specific details were sent via email to kindergarten families last week.

Our school day will start at 8:15am with students expected to be in class by 8:20am. Students inGrades K–8 will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m.while students in Grades 9–12 will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m.

Kindergarten to grade 5

For families with children in kindergarten to grade 5, please be sure your child’s teacher knows your child’s after-school plans. Whether your child is taking the bus, attending after-school care, walking home, or being picked up by a parent or caregiver; having this information helps us ensure a safe and smooth dismissal process.

School Cash Online – Forms & Fees

Please take a moment to log in to School Cash Online and review any forms that require your signature. We kindly ask that all forms be signed and completed as soon as possible to ensure that your child’s information and permissions are up to date.

School Lunch Program

Each day, two healthy meal choices will be offered, including one vegetarian option. Milk will also be included. All meals will be compliant with Policy 711 – Healthier School Food Environment.

  • Kindergarten to Grade 8: up to $4 per meal.
  • Grades 9–12: up to $5 per meal.
  • The province subsidizes the difference between the reduced fee and the full meal price.

If you feel that payment is a barrier, please contact your level vice-principal; all requests will be handled with confidentiality.

As we work together throughout the year, we encourage open communication and strong partnerships between home and school. Together, we can help every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
